And so,
While I realize there will be no actual substance to this blog I couldn't help but wonder...
A) what was the lecture about?
B) was it really that boring?
C) do you get in trouble a lot for having your cellphone out?
Though I must say, it is rather amazing that technology has advanced so much as to allow an individual to post a picture and text to a blog from a device no bigger than someone's hand while sitting in a lecture.

Im not sure this was a lecture; looks like some kind of expo at a hotel or something like that. What I see in the picture is a lot of bored people up at the front table and the one who was most boared was the one who decided to take his/her cell phone out and record out of boredom. Must be fun to be board and use technology to document the rather boring moment.
I think the idea of breaking out your cellphone during a lecture has become standard. With the iphone, one could be researching a comment made by the lecturer, or researching a term they were not familar with. Too many variables to rush to judgement.
I can't help but to think of what the presenter could have done differently to engage everybody with the use of technology.
Looks like the presenter is simply looking down on his notes and does not know what to say. Or simply there is technical difficult with his presentation and awaiting assistance from IT.

I really don't understand the educational point of this video other than pay attention in a presentation and son't play with your cell phone. Yes the presenter could have been a bit more prepared and engaged his audience more. Maybe that's why the cell phone got brought out?
